Final EIS Review Period

The Final EIS 30-day period commenced on August 15, 2014, and extended through September 15, 2014. Comments received on the Final EIS were addressed in the ROD. Both the compiled Final EIS comments and the ROD are available in the Document Library.

Draft EIS Public Comment Period

The comment period on the Draft EIS commenced on November 1, 2013 and extended through January 15, 2014. Comments received on the Draft EIS were addressed in the Final EIS.

EIS Scoping

The EIS scoping comment period commenced on June 18th, 2010 and concluded on August 2nd, 2010. Comments received or postmarked after that date will be considered to the extent practicable. An additional scoping comment period commenced on April 30, 2012 and was open until June 14, 2012.

EIS Scoping Meetings

When publishing its Notice of Intent to prepare an EIS on June 18th, 2010, the DOE opened a 45-day scoping period during which the public was invited to participate in the identification of potential environmental impacts that may result from the project. The DOE conducted seven
scoping meetings along the route.
